If you have ever been to RFyre on certain days, you will find our dear Sabine modeling. She is a quiet one (often because she is away from the keyboard or in another window). When she *is* at the computer, she is waiting for a message from her groom, Dante. He travels quite frequently between the US and Europe, so he is not always available, but when he is, the time is sweet, and their love is dark and deep.
One evening, after over a year of courting, he proposed to her at RFyre among the trees and flowers, at the wee cottage on the corner of the sim. He kneeled and asked her, “Will you be mine, bella?”
When she came to tell us, we were thrilled. Raven immediately decided she needed to make Sabine a dress. She shooed Sabine down to the store (to model, of course) and then rummaged around in her stash of antique laces, plush velvets, silks and satins.
A few days later, she called Sabine in for the viewing. As she stood on the stand, Raven transformed from herself to a beautiful dark bride with a lace decollatage, full silky black skirt with gems at the waist, ruffled wrists and a sheer veil with feathers. Raven showed Sabine how she had made three different tops and two separate undergarments to change the top up six different ways. Sabine was, of course, overwhelmed with happiness.
At the wedding, Raven and I both had our eye on Dante as Sabine walked down the aisle. His face turned from steely strong to a flash of nervousness to complete wonder as he saw Sabine walking towards him ending with utter joy as she peeked at him from behind her dark veil and slipped her pale hand in his.

SC flew up to the design studio one day while Raven and I were working. “Raven,” he said, walking in without greeting us. “What do fine gentlemen wear in SL?”
Raven pulled out several versions of suit coats she had made and SC rifled through them. “No, no.. and no, ” he said, putting down the last one. “I am asking, what does a man wear when he wants to look like a gentleman?”
Raven looked a little put off. “What exactly do you mean, SC?” she asked.
“Well, you know.. tails, gloves, trim and tailored,” SC said, blinking. I could see Raven was building up a head of steam.
SC smiled. “I see my work here is done,” and he poofed out.
Raven turned red. She started pulling out textures and mumbling under her breath. “Look like a gentleman! I’ll show him what a gentleman looks like!” Prims were flying around the room all afternoon.
The next day, she called both of us up to the studio. Arranged in full display were four tuxedos made of rich textures, with trim tails and the accompaniment of gentlemanly chain closures and full white silk bows.
SC looked them over critically, adjusting a chain here, smoothing down a lapel there. Raven and I stood by as he walked back and forth, examining.
He turned around, a very serious look on his face. “Magnificent, Raven,” and he broke out into a broad smile. “You really know what a gentleman likes.”

I teleported over and put on my translator because Merry is from Japan, and unfortunately, I speak no Japanese. Her English is FAR better but there are still gaps.
“I am going to fix this skirt,” Raven said.
“i??????????????” said the translator.
We heard back from my translator, “As for i it is the intention of correcting the skirt.”
“You look so beautiful. I hope you win!” I said.
“?????????????????” said my translator.
“Way it does, beautiful! I expecting victory!” spit back Raven’s translator.
Merry smiled sweetly. “I like this dress. I look beautiful. Thank you!”
Merry wore the dress and went on to be a Top 10 Finalist. With its full purple skirt and beautifully rendered bodice, elaborate textures and satiny opera-length gloves, elegantly twisted waistband with draping scarves, the dress is the color of the royalty who wears it–Marry.

Raven recently got a new studio, built by her partner Sam. It’s gorgeous–expansive, futuristic, but also romantic. It has a garden and built in private offices, so Raven gave SC and I offices near her studio.
She had been working on a dress one day when SC and I both came out of our offices to chat near the coffeemaker (yes, she has one and yes, we do gather around to chat). Raven was moving prims into place when SC stopped her and said, “Raven, I think you want that over here.” He took the prim and moved it closer to her neck. She smiled wanly.
We chatted a little more and then Raven said, “Harper, what do you think of this skirt?”
I looked her up and down. “I think you need to lengthen and tighten the system skirt. And I see a prim out of place on the skirt.” I straightened the prim and went back to giggling with SC while we sipped our coffee.
We both went back to our offices but not before giving Raven a few more tips about the dress she was making.
Later that day she invited us both up for a preview. We were blown away. The dress was the utmost in couture with it’s feather bordered bodice, smart satin cuffs, curled translucent collar, and beautifully pleated sleek skirt. With its patterned stockings, stylish belt and beautiful hat, it was a thousand notches above what we had first seen. SC and I were thrilled–I couldn’t wait to wear it and he couldn’t wait to photograph it.
“What are you naming it, Raven?”
Raven smiled slyly and said, “I am calling it the Fury.” She glared at both of us as she handed over the box and tp’d into her private office.
SC and I looked at each other and quietly went back to work.
