Dior, Mills Series No. 1: RP Couture’s Latest for Men

It’s no big secret that Frolic Mills and Raven Pennyfeather have something going on. Sometimes when I go up to her studio, I can still smell his cologne–something soft and musky and leathery–very masculine. He comes in, fusses over what Raven is making, gives her a little gossip, and always a good encouraging word. I really think he thinks of her as a sort of sister. Even a hemisphere’s distance doesn’t take that away.
Last time I wandered up, Frolic was on Raven’s pose stand. They were struggling with a scarf, and Frolic was helping her. He was wearing a well tailored suit with square shoulders over a cashmere crewneck sweater, tailored linen pants with a fine Italian belt. Frolic cinched the scarf, showing her how he would wear it. “You tuck it in here, honey. Then it doesn’t fly up in your face when it’s windy but it still looks good.” When she stepped back, I could see he looked really handsome in the ensemble. It was perfect for him.
I sniffed the air. “Mmm.. Frolic, you smell good today. What is that?”
“Harpy!” he smiled. (Why does he call me that?!) “It’s Dior Homme. This is one of my favorites.” He paused, reading 10 IMs, probably. “Oh oh.. have to go.. party to go to, magazine to look over, models to corral.”
“Frolic, leave that scarf here,” Raven said. “I have a little more stitching to do.”
Frolic took the scarf off and poofed out. Raven tied the scarf around her neck and breathed in his cologne, smiling. “I think I will name this outfit ‘Dior’ since he likes fashion so much. What do you think?”
I agreed. Frolic was the epitome of fashion for men in SL. Naming the series after him and the suit after one of its icons made perfect sense.
